Enjoy walking in the green countryside. Our group walks are around 45 minutes long and take us down to the river, shorter walks to the duck pond and around the apple orchard are part of the pleasure of slowing down and resting deeply.
We ask all to bring waterproof shoes. Waterproofs are available to borrow on retreat.
Beyond the front hedge you'll discover our 4 metre trampoline, you may have forgotten how much fun these can be!
Well Behaved Dogs Welcome On Retreat
Dogs are welcome with their owners in certain cottages.
Thank you to all the lovely dogs we've had so far... great company for extra walks and cuddles!
Please see Dog Policy for more details - incl. dog deposits and conditions, we ask that they are not are kept off the furniture and beds; and that all waste is bagged and binned..
We ensure dogs do not enter shared spaces if anyone is allergic or uncomfortable with this & that dogs do not disrupt the pleasure or quiet enjoyment of the participants.
Phones, WiFi and TVs
Free WiFi is available in each cottage and throughout the communal areas.
Because mobile signal can be very patchy we have a telephone with honesty box for guests to use on the first floor underneath the group room (where the daily Lifestyle & Nutrition talks take place).
All cottages have a flat-screen TV with Freeview and some also have Sky TV with the movies and sports channels.
Some of the cottages have a washing machine and there is also a guest laundry room with £1 coin-operated washing machines and dryers.
The soap powder and soft rinse is complimentary and we have washing lines and clothes airers for guests to use.
